What this site is

This is the website of TG Equestrian, a registered business name of Tania Greenwood, ABN 22 321 844 951. It exists so you can find out what I do, read a bit about how I coach, and get in touch.

By using it you are agreeing to what is on this page. It is short, and none of it is a surprise.

Getting in touch is not a booking

Sending me an enquiry, or ringing me, does not book a lesson and does not oblige either of us to anything. A lesson is booked when the two of us have agreed a time between us.

Prices on this site are current at the time of writing and are GST-free, because I am not registered for GST. If anything changes about what a lesson costs you, you will hear it from me before you book, not from a footnote.

The guides, and what they are worth

The articles under Guides are general information, written from my own experience of coaching riders and keeping horses in this part of Queensland. They are not advice about your horse, because I have not seen your horse.

More particularly, and this matters:

I am a riding coach. I am not a vet, a farrier, a saddle fitter or an equine nutritionist. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis, a treatment, a feeding plan or a substitute for asking one of those people. Where a guide touches on a horse's health or feeding, it says so and it tells you to go and ask somebody qualified. Please do.

If your horse is unwell, lame, losing condition or behaving in a way that is new and out of character, that is a conversation with your vet before it is a conversation with me.

Riding carries risk. It always has. Nothing written here removes it, and reading a guide is not the same as being taught.

The words and pictures are mine

The writing, the photographs, the horse emblem and the TG Equestrian name are mine or licensed to me. Read them, and send them to a friend who might find them useful. Do not republish them as your own or use them to advertise something else.

If you want to quote a guide somewhere, that is usually fine. Ask me.

A word on the pictures. Some of them are illustrative rather than a record of a particular lesson, horse or property. Where a photograph shows a real client or a real horse, it is there with their permission.

Links to other places

Where I point you at somebody else, such as a vet, a saddler or a club, I am pointing rather than vouching. What happens on their website is theirs, not mine.

Keeping the site running

I will keep this site accurate and available, but it is a small business website rather than a utility. It may be down occasionally, and there may be a stretch where a price or a detail is out of date before I have got to it. If something on here looks wrong, tell me and I will fix it.

Your rights as a consumer

Nothing on this page takes away any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Those guarantees apply to the coaching I provide whatever a website says, and I am not trying to write around them.
